Workshop shows how to create a positive experience for all in volleyball
The interactive session (6.30pm to 7.30pm, with an optional extra 30 minutes for questions afterwards) will explore what a positive experience looks like in practice and how it can be consistently delivered within clubs, sessions and events.
The workshop focuses on supporting clubs, universities and volunteers to create positive, inclusive and welcoming environments for everyone involved in volleyball.
Participants will reflect on their own environments, consider different perspectives within the volleyball community, and explore practical ways to promote positive behaviours, effective communication and inclusive practice.
Through discussion, scenarios and shared learning, attendees will gain confidence in shaping environments where people feel supported, respected and encouraged to stay involved in the sport.
This will be done by understanding what shapes people’s experiences and participants will explore how behaviours, communication and culture can influence enjoyment and retention.
